The afternoon story hours will be held on May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. As usual, there will be enjoyable stories and crafts. Registration for May's story hours will begin on April 15 and run through the end of April. Registration is required.

What Every Driver Needs to Know. Lincoln father, John Lorea, will tell his story on how his 15-year-old daughter, Marissa, was killed as a result of riding in a car with a reckless driver. Starting as street performers in New York, the Marian Anderson Quartet embraces the classical tradition and infuses it with the richness of the African-American experience. Their big sound and vibrant theatricality will bring to life a unique concert featuring rarely heard classical compositions by Black composers and contemporary arrangements of Negro spirituals. Tickets range from $25.00 to $35.00; $5 for students with an ID. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door.
