Esther Guadagni – Lincoln

Esther Guadagni, 91, passed away on Monday in Hopkins Manor, North Providence. She was the wife of the late William J. Guadagni Sr.

Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Violet (Anderson) Archambault. She resided in Lincoln for the past 60 years, previously residing in Cumberland.

St. was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland and a member of the AARP and the Pioneers of America.

Mrs. Guadagni was an operator for the former New England Telephone for 28 years until her retirement in 1992.

She is survived by her seven sons, William Guadagni Jr., of Burrillville; Brian P. Guadagni of Lincoln; Donald F. Guadagni of Fairlee, Vt.; Alfred S. Guadagni of New Ipswich, N.H.; James J. Guadagni, Patrick M. Guadagni, and John T. Guadagni all of Lincoln. Three daughters, Marcia McDonough of North Ft. Myers, Fla.; Marjorie E. Heggison of Quebec, Canada; and Maureen V. LaSalle of Fairlee, Vt,; one brother Ralph F. Archambault of Malvern, Pa.; one sister June A. Olivier of Cumberland; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Michele A. Jeffrey and the sister of the late Robert Archambault, Alfred Archambault, Carl Archambault Dorothy Boyd, Bertha Harrison, Alice Tumidjski, Rose-Alma Kowal and Violet O'Brien.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9 a.m., from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 301 Broad St., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
