Charles P. Kratochwil – Lincoln

Charles P. Kratochwil, 74, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Joan (Bator) Kratochwil and they had been married for the past 52 years.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Stoy) Kratochwil. He resided in Lincoln for the past 19 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Following his graduation from Pawtucket West High School, Mr. Kratochwill entered the United States Air Force where he served during the Vietnam Era.

He enjoyed trips to Twin River and Foxwoods with his wife.

Besides his wife, he leaves his two sisters, Patricia J. Plante of Attleboro, Mass., and Barbara Edenfield of Halls, Tenn.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Charlie's Life Celebration that begins with visiting hours on Monday, March 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. His tribute continues on Tuesday, March 27, at 10 a.m., from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors performed by the United States Air Force will follow in the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Disabled American Veterans Association. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
