U.S. Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Bryan J. Buckless graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Buckless is a 2005 graduate of Smithfield High School. He earned an associate degree in 2006 from Professional Golfers Career College, Winter Garden, Fla.

Air Force Airman Kyle J. Sedgley graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Sedgley is the son of Kirk W. and Arlene D. Sedgley of North Scituate. He is a 2013 graduate of Cranston High School West.

Nicholas A. Deluca is an Army ROTC cadet involved in Cadet Language and Cultural Immersion Training. After a week-long training session at Fort Knox, Ky., the selected cadets are deployed to partner nations where they are immersed in the local cultures and languages.

The selected cadets will spend three weeks involved in assisting with current Army missions that range from community outreach projects to teaching English to local children or host country military personnel.

Deluca is currently a student at Rhode Island College. He is a 2012 graduate of Smithfield High Shool.

Tyler W. Donovan, an Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadet at Bryant University has graduated from the Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Knox, Ky.

Cadets usually attend LDAC between their junior and senior years of college, and they must complete the course to qualify for commissioning. Upon successful completion of the course, the ROTC program, and graduation from college, cadets are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, or Army Reserve.

He is a 2011 graduate of Catholic Memorial School, Needham, Mass.
