Depaults thank community for helping their brother

To our family, friends, colleagues, and Buy-Local family - Thank You! Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and we continue to be humbled by your generosity. So many people opened their hearts and their wallets to help us in our endeavor to help our brother, Russell Depault, after he was hurt in an accident. Now, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratefulness. You have reaffirmed to us that there is still much good in the world.

While conducting fundraisers on our brother's behalf, we received so many gifts - way too numerous to mention individually - including monetary gifts, advertisement, printing, flowers, food, favors, supplies and many, many raffle items. That being said, we need to mention our special thanks to Tom Ward of The Valley Breeze and Town Councilman Scott Schmitt for their extra special help, to everyone who baked desserts for the dinner, and to the Knights of Columbus - both of Lincoln and Greenville - for their generous food donations. Without this help, we would not have been as successful as we were.

We also would like to extend a very special thank you to Carmela and Walter S. who shopped, prepared, and served the wonderful food we enjoyed that night, and to our uncle, Manny Brandao, who entertained us beautifully. Without their efforts, our dinner would not have been the "event" that it was.

From Russell: "To all family and friends, I love and thank you for your support and caring. I am very blessed to have so many great people in my life. Saying thank you is all I can do for now, but it is my hope and plan to pay-it-forward in the future. Thank you."

Thank you to everyone for their support and the overwhelming success of this dinner.
