Frank Marrapese – Lincoln

Frank Marrapese, 81, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of June (Hauser) Marrapese. They had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Simmons) Marrapese.

Mr. Marrapese was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #94. After 44 years of service he retired from Dimeo Construction. He had also been employed by O. Ahlborg & Sons & Bowerman Bros.

Mr. Marrapese was a member of Christ Church of Lonsdale and served on the vestry. He was also a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He was a New York Yankees fan, too.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David and his wife, Davida, of Johnston, Jay and his wife, Gail, of North Kingstown, Michael and his wife, Christine, of Scituate and Guy and his companion, Debra Ottaviano, of Smithfield; his daughter Meredith Cahoon and her husband, Harold, of Warwick; his sister Sherry Deldeo and her husband, Stephen. He also leaves grandchildren Jason and his wife, Allyson; Jennifer and her husband, Jason; Kerri and her husband, Jason; Joseph; Matthew; Marissa and her husband, Christopher; Justin; Dylan; and Kyle; great-grandchildren Lillian, Mason, Emily, Mackenzie and Grayson; and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Brenda Manchester.

His funeral and burial will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 8:45 a.m., from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Eucharistic Service at 10 a.m., in Christ Church of Lonsdale, 1643 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Rhode Island Ave., Johnston. Visiting hours are Thursday from 4-8 pm.
