Many neglect to realize, that nearly two years ago, the majority Republican congress had been replaced by the Democratic Party. Unlike their counterparts, this shift in power was accomplished without crybabies, lawsuits or hanging chads. At that time, the Democrats inherited the following: gas prices at $2.18 a gallon, record low unemployment, low food prices, a record high stock market, and a country that has not been attacked since 9/11. continue
I just want to say that as I looked at the last several issues of The Valley Breeze and Observer, I was extremely impressed by both the breadth and depth of the local news coverage, so much better than was previously available locally, and infinitely better than is available in our regional "newspaper of record."
