Paul C. Laliberte - Lincoln

Paul C. Laliberte, 81, of Grove Street passed away Monday, April 1 in the V.A. Regional Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Evelyn A. (Gingras) Laliberte.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Isreal and Josephine (Nadeau) Laliberte. Mr. Laliberte resided most of his life in Lincoln.

He was employed as a fitter for the Tower Iron Co., for 17 years, retiring in 1994. Mr. Laliberte was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.

He leaves two daughters, Deborah A. Laliberte and her husband Robert of Ramona, Calif., and Diane L. Racine and her husband Ted with whom he made his home; two sons, Daniel P. Laliberte and his wife Bonnie of Coventry and Kenneth J. Laliberte and his wife Laurie of Cumberland; four sisters, Theresa Kirkendol of Cameron, Mo., Violet Racine, Gloria Cardin and Pauline Nicholson, all of Pawtucket; seven grandchildren Danie, Adam, Nicole, Maegan, Bethany and Ryan Laliberte and Garrett Racine; two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Nickolas Gunderson; eight great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. He also was the brother of the late Doris Ryan, Clifford Laliberte, Yvonne Bergeron, Roger Laliberte and Donald Laliberte.

A Celebration of his life will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
