Conservation Commission seeks new member

CUMBERLAND - Town Hall is announcing that the Cumberland Conservation Commission has one vacancy due to a resignation.

The appointed individual would serve the remainder of the vacancy's term to Jan. 31, 2014.

This commission has seven members appointed for a three-year term by the Town Council. The board makes recommendations to the Town Council for the preservation of the natural resources of the town with respect to future development. They meet the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
