Tour the Joseph Spaulding House on Oct. 9

PAWTUCKET - The restored Federal cottage at 30 Fruit St., known as the Joseph Spaulding House, will be open for a public tour on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The house was restored in the 1970s by historian Elizabeth Johnson and her husband, John. The house is one of 21 homes in the South Street National Register Historic District, an area of mid-19th-century homes.
