North Smithfield library announces children's events

NORTH SMITHFIELD - The North Smithfield Public Library announces the following children's events.

See the film "Hocus Pocus" on the big screen on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. This 1993 Disney movie is rated PG and runs 96 minutes. The event is free and attendees are invited to bring a snack and enjoy the show.

A Halloween Party will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. The event is open to all ages and no registration is required. The event will feature stories, crafts, and snacks. Costumes are optional, but there will be a Halloween parade around the library at 7 p.m.

The Animal Affair Traveling Petting Zoo will visit the library on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will be able to hold, pet and feed the animals in a relaxed setting. The free event will take place rain or shine and is open to all ages. No registration is required.
