Family Resources enrolling for Young Adult Incentive Program

WOONSOCKET - The Youth Center at Family Resources Community Action is beginning enrollment for young adults 16 to 21 in the Young Adult Incentives Program.

Young adults receive individualized assistance to meet their career and academic goals and may qualify for a six-week paid internship. Cash incentives are available for completing program benchmarks over the course of a year. The program specifically targets young adults in northern Rhode Island who are recent high school graduates, attending college, or currently pursuing their GED. To be considered for the program, young adults must be considered low-income as determined by receiving SNAP benefits or another type of public assistance, or other proof that they meet federal poverty guidelines.
