CUMBERLAND - The Cumberland Recreation Department is offering a holiday craft class on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Diamond Hill Ski Lodge, 4097 Diamond Hill Road. Registration is being accepted now through Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Cumberland Recreation office at Diamond Hill Park.

In this class, you will be creating a Williamsburg fruit centerpiece to take home with you to decorate your table for the holidays. The 12" tall centerpiece can be made on a flat plate or put into a 7-8 inch container to raise the height. Fresh apples, holly and boxwood make up this tree shaped table centerpiece. A sample is available to see at the Cumberland Recreation office.

The cost is $20. Participants will need to bring snippers, jewelry wire cutters or scissors, 10-inch plate or 7-inch container and 13 pieces of fruit (apples, oranges and/or lemons).

Space is limited. For more information, call 401-334-9996.
