BVCAP accepting applications for YouthBuild program

PAWTUCKET - The Blackstone Valley Community Action Program is looking for young adults, 18-24 years old, to participate in their YouthBuild Program.

The YouthBuild Program is a full-time, 10-month program that gives young adults hands-on training to start a career in the construction trades, as well as earn their GED and transition to college.

Participants earn money, hands-on construction training, national construction certification, GED classes and college preparation, leadership development, career development and computer training.

In order to qualify for this free program, participants must meet one of the following requirements: be low-income; a current or former foster care youth; or a youth or adult offender.

BVCAP is currently accepting applications.
