Woonsocket police arrest man on gun, drug charges

WOONSOCKET – A city man has been charged with five crimes, and police say there may be more to come, following a search of an apartment operated by the Woonsocket Housing Authority that is close to a school.
According to a release from the Woonsocket Police Department, officers worked in conjunction with WHA to execute a search warrant at 143 Bourdon Blvd. The search reportedly revealed 6.9 grams of marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and a loaded 40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun.

Police arrested Henrry Camilo Quinones and charged him with possession of arms by convict in crime of violence; maintaining a common nuisance/controlled substance; and two charges of manufacture/possession with intent to deliver Quinones was also charged with distribution of controlled substances near a school because of the building's close proximity to the Dunn Park and Bourdon Boulevard Head Start programs.

Police say more charges are pending a further investigation.
