Ranger Talk on Washington's Ghost Army this Sunday

WOONSOCKET - On Sunday, Feb. 9, the Museum of Work & Culture, 42 South Main St., in cooperation with the Blackstone Valley National Heritage Corridor, will present the third in a series of Ranger Day Talks at 1:30 p.m.¬?Norman Desmarais, professor emeritus at Providence College, will talk on counter intelligence and deception during the Revolutionary War.

Desmarais, of Lincoln, is the author of "Battlegrounds of Freedom" and the six-volume "The Guide to the American Revolutionary War."¬?He is an active re-enactor with the 2nd Rhode Island Regiment and the Regiment Bourbonnais.¬?He is a member editor-in-chief of the Brigade of the American Revolution's Journal, "The Brigade Dispatch."¬?

The hour-long talk starts at 1:30 p.m., in the museum's ITU Hall, and is free and open to the public.
