Dubois explodes in NSLL

NORTH SMITHFIELD - A monster game.

That's what Cole Dubois had as he led his United Rentals team to a 24-6 win over Quinn Construction in North Smithfield Little League action last week.

Dubois smacked four hits, including one that sailed out of Pacheco Park for a homer. He wasn't alone in the offensive output as Nathan Lamoureux cracked three hits, and Jack Puccetti, Anthony Fantoni, and Kamran Bhatia each contributed a pair of hits, while Cole Skinner, Mike Belcher, Jackson Laferriere and Matt Belcher turned in a hit apiece.

All About Sports is in first place at 9-4, followed by Quinn Construction, 11-5; Pete's Plumbing, 7-5; United Rentals, 5-9, and Matrix Power, 1-10.

In a well played contest, Coastal Collision nipped Beauchemin Lumber 5-4 in AAA Minor Division action. Dean Varrechione had a huge outing, pitching for the winners and also belting a homer.

In another AAA contest, International Building Company broke open a close game by scoring nine runs in the fourth inning on the way to a 17-8 win over Benchmark.

Billy Connell pitched three strong innings, and Holden Tousignant closed out the game for the winners. Max Mattos, Billy Connell, Ethan Battersby, and Daniel White all had multiple hits. Playing stellar defense for IBC were Billy Sullivan, Jacob Austin and Trevor Rose.

Coastal Collision is in first place at 8-1, followed by Beauchemin Lumber, 4-5-1; Benchmark, 4-7, and International Building Company, 3-6-1.
