Time for St. Ambrose Clambake

LINCOLN - St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 191 School St., Albion, holds its annual parish clambake on Sunday, Sept. 7, from noon to 5 p.m. In addition to great food and a cold beer tent, the event includes games for children, games of chance for adults, a quarter social tent and raffles. The New England Patriots football game will be televised so fans won't miss the action.

Clamcakes, red and white chowder, steamers, dynamites, hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, homemade baked goods and cold drinks will be available for purchase. The Clambake Club raffle drawings are held every hour, with a total of $5,000 in prizes. Only 200 Clambake Club raffle tickets will be sold; tickets are available for $100 a piece at the rectory office.
