Ann M. Snodgrass - Cumberland

Ann M. (Masse) Snodgrass, 73, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, Sept. 27 at Home and Hospice Care of RI, Providence, in the company of her family. She was the wife of Jonathan T. Snodgrass.

Born in Watertown, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Hector and Margaret (Lane) Masse. She resided in Cumberland for the past 46 years, previously residing in Natick, Mass.

She was a graduate of the Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Mrs. Snodgrass was a dedicated Registered Nurse employed by Rhode Island Hospital and Harvard Health during her career.

She was a communicant of the St. John Vianney Church. She was a member of the Cumberland Garden Club. She was an active bridge player.

Besides her husband, she leaves behind her daughter, Pamela Snodgrass-Belt and her husband Timothy Belt and her son, Todd Snodgrass and his wife Linda, all of Cumberland; five grandchildren, Hunter Snodgrass, Jonathan Snodgrass, Olivia Belt, Grace Belt and Ryan Snodgrass; and her brother, Robert Masse of Nashua, N.H. She was the sister of the late Rita Malley.

A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 9 A.M. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery, Newton, Mass. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M.
