Mary Houle - North Smithfield

Mary (Carberry) Houle, 77, of Sunnycrest Avenue, North Smithfield, died October 15, 2014, in St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield.

She was the wife of the late Eugene S. Houle. Born in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Faron) Carberry.

Mrs. Houle worked as an assembler for A.T. Cross, Lincoln, retiring in 1988. She was also Co-owner of North East Structures. She enjoyed reading mysteries and playing cards.

She is survived by a son, David Houle and his wife Beth of Burrillville; a daughter, Mary-Jean “MJ” Perry and her husband John of North Smithfield; three granddaughters, Jillian and Jaclyn Perry and Katelyn Houle; and a great-grandson, Noah, as well as another soon-to-be born great-grandson. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Carberry of Millbury.

Her funeral will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, at 9 A.M. from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., Slatersville. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 4–7 P.M.
