Emily B. Angell - Scituate

Emily B. Angell died on December 15, 2014. The daughter of the late Theodore and Beatrice (Buffinton) Dexter, she was predeceased in May 2012 by her husband, William L. Angell.

Emily earned a degree in Industrial Engineering Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1947.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean E. Angell, and her son Thomas W. Angell, both of Scituate. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jessica Angell Phillips of Glocester, Joshua T. Angell of Scituate and Ashley Angell Eaker of Seneca, S.C., as well as eight great-grandchildren.

Private burial services took place on December 19, 2014, the 70th anniversary of the death of her brother, Theodore Dexter Jr., who died in the Battle of the Bulge in Luxembourg. Mr. and Mrs. Angell created a memorial to Teddy by dedicating the Dexter Pond on Route 6 in Scituate in his honor.
