Albert J. Carbone – Pawtucket

Albert J. Carbone, 61, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Kerrie A. (Wilcox) Carbone.

Born in Providence, a son of Honey (DiMente) Carbone of Warwick and the late Albert R. Carbone, he had lived in Pawtucket for the past 28 years.

Mr. Carbone was a truck driver for Cape Cod Ice Company, East Providence for 15 years before retiring in 2011.

Al was an avid bowler and was a member of the Merry Mixers, a co-ed bowling league in Cranston. He also loved golf and was a true Yankees fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was loving and caring, a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend always putting others first. He had the most generous, loving heart that touched many lives with his presence.

Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his loving daughter, Amanda Carbone of Pawtucket; his four loving stepchildren, Erik LaBerge of New City, Jennifer Mielewski and her husband, Chris, of Webster, Mass., Keri LaBerge of Lincoln and Kevin LaBerge of Pawtucket; his two loving sisters, Linda Ault and her husband, Richard, and Diane Soma, all of Warwick; and his five beloved grandchildren.He also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, at 10 A.M., in St. Teresa’s Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. His burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at Bellows Funeral Chapel, 160 River Road, Lincoln, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 4-7 p.m.
