Cumberland

• Fireworks and food truck rally at Tucker Field, Mendon Road, on Tuesday, July 3, beginning at 5 p.m. The event will begin with music by Kelley Lennon and her band at 7 p.m., followed by the fireworks at 9 p.m.

Woonsocket

• Update: Woonsocket fireworks postponed until July 5 due to projected showers. Fireworks and entertainment with Jeff Gamache and Runaway Train at Barry Field, Smithfield Road. The band will perform on 6:30 p.m. The rain date is July 5. Fireworks will be held at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Scituate

• Hope-Jackson Fire Department hosting events at 117 Main St., Hope. Route 115. Events start at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3. Free red or white clam chowder, and other food available for purchase. Family-friendly event including bouncy house and smoke trailer, fire-education trailer that fills with fog.

Main Street will be closed around 5 p.m. Fireworks begin at dusk. Contact the firehouse with questions at 401-828-6460.

• Scituate Olde Home Day will be held at the North Scituate Congregational Church grounds, West Greenville Road on Wednesday, July 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is a mostly free, family-friendly, old fashioned fun-themed day with games and activities.

Pawtucket

• Patriotic post-game fireworks will be held on Monday and Tuesday, July 2-3, at McCoy Stadium after the 6:15 p.m. PawSox games against Rochester.

Glocester

• Live music and fireworks on Saturday, June 30, beginning at noon, at Glocester Memorial Park (Behind Senior Center), 52 Adelaide Road. Entertainment, beginning at noon, will include: Screw Tops & Sommeliers, Counterfeit Cash, Johnny Edwards, Bunktown, Secondhand Smoke, Jess & The Hogg Brothers and Wayz & Means. Fireworks will begin at 9 p.m.

Smithfield

• The town of Smithfield and Bryant University will hold a celebration on Monday, July 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bryant University’s Bulldog Stadium, 1150 Douglas Pike, in Smithfield. The U.S. Navy Band will perform at 8 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

People are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets and are prohibited from bringing personal fireworks, pets, drones, or alcohol to the event. Rain date is Sunday, July 8, fireworks only.

North Providence

• The town will host its annual Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 3, with festivities and fireworks at Notte Park off Douglas Avenue.

The band Reminisce will be playing from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Notte Park Tennis Courts. Food court will be located in the upper parking lot. Food vendors include Saugy’s, Championship Melt, SoulFull, McCray’s Seafood and more. The fireworks display will go off at about 9 p.m. The rain date is Thursday, July 5.

North Smithfield

• Fireworks display is Saturday, July 14, at the North Smithfield High School athletic fields at sundown. The rain date is July 15.
