Joseph W. Kelleher Jr. – Cumberland

Joseph W. Kelleher Jr., of Cumberland, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019, at the Miriam Hospital, Providence.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Renaud) Kelleher Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

Mr. Kelleher was a self-employed auto body technician and at one time owned Kelleher Auto Body, in Wrentham and North Attleboro, Mass. Even with some physical limitations, he would still work on cars out in the yard to this very day.

Joe enjoyed the simple life, enjoyed watching the Patriots and Red Sox, sketch drawing, but most of all enjoyed hanging out with his friends. He was a frequent visitor to Mon Kou Restaurant, where he enjoyed many scorpion bowls and earned the nickname "Joe Keno."

He leaves his daughter, Elizabeth Kelleher of Woonsocket; his loyal furry companion "Buddy;" his siblings, Isabelle Gaudette of Cumberland, and Edward Kelleher of Cumberland; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Katherine Martel, Marie Glaude, Elaine Carrier and Raymond Kelleher.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Joe's Life Celebration to be held with visiting hours on Monday, February 4, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m., and continue on Tuesday, February 5 at 10 a.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
