Suspects sought in Twin River robbery

LINCOLN - The Lincoln Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two individuals involved in a strong-armed robbery that occurred at Twin River casino on June 10.

Police report that around 3 a.m. a married couple left the casino and headed to their car in the north parking lot. As they were getting into the vehicle, the suspect exited the passenger side of a silver Jeep Cherokee that was parked nearby.

Security video captures the suspect approaching the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle and forcing the door open. The suspect then reached into the vehicle and ripped both the victim and her purse from the vehicle, according to police.


The female victim was thrown to the ground as the suspect ran through the parking lot with the purse. As the male suspect was running, a female accomplice began to drive the Jeep away, nearly hitting the victim with the vehicle as she sped off.

Police said the female suspect then drove towards the casino exit, at which point the male suspect was able to get in the Jeep. Together, the fled the area.

The male suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’6 to 5’9 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray hoodie with dark colored pants and sneakers.

The female suspect driving the Jeep is described as a white with light colored hair.
