Charles "Chuck" Theroux – Belmont, N.H.

Charles "Chuck" Theroux, 67, resident of Belmont, N.H., died peacefully on July 19, 2019, following a period of failing health at Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Laconia, N.H.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I., on May 3, 1952, Chuck was the son of late Roland and Gertrude (Boiteau) Theroux. He spent his youth in Rhode Island and attended Mount St. Charles High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology, obtaining an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design Engineering Technology.

Chuck was employed as an assistant manager for B&W Express before ultimately buying and owning it for 25 years. Later, worked as manager of C.E.T. Transport before moving to New Hampshire.

While in New Hampshire, he found himself working at several machinist companies before finally retiring.

He enjoyed being with family, reading, and spending time on his computer. In addition, Chuck harbored a passion for playing guitar and designing model airplanes.

Chuck leaves his wife of 46 years, Suzanne (Barrette) Theroux, of Belmont, N.H.; sons Michael Theroux and his wife, Lani, of Greenville, N.H., and Eric Theroux and his wife, Michele, of Cranston, R.I.; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sisters Diane Chait and husband, Hal, of Connecticut; Marie Anne Paquin and husband, Mark, of Cumberland, R.I., as well as many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held at J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, R.I., on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m.
