Dean A. Desautell – Blackstone

Dean A. “Dino” Desautell, 50, of Warner Street, died peacefully at home with his family by his side.

Born in Woonsocket, son of Robert and Jeanne (Berard) Desautell.

Dean was a self-employed contractor working in construction for several years.

He enjoyed playing cards and chess, going camping, listening to the Grateful Dead, playing guitar and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, Dean is survived by his two children, Sherice Riel and her husband, Derek, of Cumberland, R.I., and Deja Desautell and Brent Saritelli of Chepachet, R.I.; two brothers, David Desautell of Blackstone, Mass., Dennis Desautell of North Smithfield, R.I.., and his granddaughter, Mya Riel.

He is also survived by his companion, the love of his life, Jaqueline A. Arpin, of Slatersville, R.I.

Dean’s funeral and burial will be private. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, R.I., is in charge of the arrangements. Donations in his memory can be made to: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute 20 Prospect St. Milford, MA 01757.
