WORCESTER, Mass. – Woonsocket native Craig Letourneau, who is in his ninth season as the head coach of the Wheaton College women’s volleyball team, recently picked up the 300th victory of his collegiate coaching career when the Lyons defeated Western New England, 3-0, at the Lancers’ home court.

He posted an 86-75 record as the women’s volleyball coach at Rhode Island from 2002-06 and an 89-38 mark at Emerson College from 2007-10. In his first eight years with the Lyons, Letourneau’s mark was 115-133, but in 2017 and last season, his record was 46-19.

Among the players on Letourneau’s team this season is sophomore middle hitter Haley McCreight, who graduated last year from Mount Saint Charles.
