Jeannine G. Malouin – Cumberland

Jeannine G. Malouin, 89, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Henri Malouin.

Born in Granby P.Q., Canada, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Yvonne (LaFlamme) Berger. Jeannine migrated to the United States in 1948 and settled in Cumberland.

She was an avid bingo player at St. Agatha's Church where she also spent countless hours volunteering. She enjoyed cooking and polka dancing.

She was a machine operator for more than 40 years at various textile mills in Woonsocket.

She is survived by her three sons, Richard Malouin (Janice) of Uxbridge, Mass., Normand Malouin (Debbie) of Burrillville and Jean Malouin (Donna) of Pittsfield, N.H.; two daughters, Suzanne Beilot (Frank) of Woonsocket and Claire Hazelbrouck (Jonathan Lopes) of Cumberland; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Denis Parent.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited Jeannine's Life Celebration beginning with Visiting Hours on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and a prayer service at 11 a.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
