Deborah A. Tardie – Bellingham, Mass.

Deborah A. (Girouard) Tardie, 66, of Bellingham, Mass., passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at The Holiday Retirement Home with her loving family by her side.

She is the beloved wife of Marcel C. Tardie. Born in Woonsocket, R.I. on June 2, 1953, she leaves her mother, Theresa (Lambert) Robichaud, and her husband, Raymond, of Cumberland, R.I., and her late father Roland Girouard.

She is the loving mother of Jason D. Kay and his wife, Kristen, of Bellingham, Mass., and Aaron J. Kay and his wife, Jennifer of Dighton, Mass. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Lynsey, Mari and Brady Kay, and also nephews and cousins. She is the sister of the late Bruce Girouard.

Deborah was a resident of Bellingham for many years and was formerly of Cumberland. She was a graduate of Cumberland High School, and CCRI receiving her bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse. Deborah worked as a registered nurse at Fogarty Hospital and The Holiday Retirement Home.

She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed crossword puzzles, ceramics and knitting. Deborah’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, at 7 p.m., at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, Mass. Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
