Vincenza “Jennie” Petrucci – Foster

Vincenza “Jennie” (Colantonio) Petrucci, passed away at age 83, on November 26, 2019.

A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, she was born in Providence on February 1, 1936, to Dominic and Margaret (Garafalo) Colantonio.

She was a graduate of Holy Ghost School in Providence. Jennie was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Joseph R. Petrucci.

She is survived by her four children: Jennifer Petrucci Berntson and her husband, Craig, Joseph R. Petrucci, Janis Petrucci Hawkins and her husband, Bruce, and Jo-Ann Petrucci Andrews and her husband, Benjamin.

Jennie was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Foster. Jennie’s passion in life was for her family and she leaves a legacy of love. She was always one to offer help or care to anyone in need, in her family, a friend, or in her community.

Besides her children, she leaves two sisters, Antoinette Marchetti and Claire Gage. She was the cherished grandma of seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, December 2, from 8-10 a.m., in the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Road, Scituate, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 116 Danielson Pike, Foster. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
