Woonsocket man arrested on multiple narcotics charges

SMITHFIELD – The Smithfield and Woonsocket Police Departments worked together to arrest a Woonsocket man who was dealing narcotics from his room at Hilton Home 2 Suites, 944 Douglas Pike in Smithfield, on Friday, Jan. 10, at 5:50 a.m.

Detectives from both departments conducted surveillance and purchased narcotics from Tarsheen Robinson, 29, of 63 Fountain St. in Woonsocket, after receiving a tip that he was selling drugs from his hotel room.

After executing a search warrant for Robinson and his hotel room, detectives found 7 grams of heroin, 11 grams of crack cocaine, 26 grams of marijuana, five Oxycodone pills, one Focalin pill (a schedule II drug), a scale and packing materials.

Robinson was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of Oxycodone and possession of Focalin.

He was held without bail on three Superior Court cases and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on Wednesday, April 8.
