Library announces school vacation programs

PAWTUCKET – The Pawtucket Public Library, 13 Summer St., announces the following February school vacation week programs.

• Building with Straws: A STEM Program: Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 10:30 a.m. Children and their families are invited to build and create shapes and structures using plastic straws and connectors. Best for ages 4 and up.

• The Great Baldini Magic Show: Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Join the Great Baldini and his assistant Skinny on a magical journey.

• Infant Story Class: Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 a.m. This ongoing class includes stories, songs, rhymes and social playtime.

• Chinese New Year Celebration: Thursday, Feb. 20, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., in the Caiden Room. Best for children 5 and up, but younger children are welcome with caregiver help. All materials will be provided.

• Sensory Friendly Movie: Friday, Feb. 21, 10 a.m. Families with children on the autistic spectrum or with developmental delays are invited to a free movie showing of “Abominable.” Children of all abilities are welcome.

• Lego Club: Saturday, Feb. 22, 2:30-4 p.m. This free drop-in program is open to ages 7-12; younger children are welcome with caregiver help.
