Karen A. Audette – Woonsocket

Karen A. (Vermette) Audette, 63, of Papineau Ave., died February 13, 2020, in Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Paul Audette whom she married August 14, 1977.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Pauline (Caron) Vermette of Woonsocket and the late Walter Vermette.

In her 41-year career, Mrs. Audette worked in variety of roles for the VNS of Rhode Island for 24 years, and for Roger Williams Hospital for 17 years. She enjoyed skiing, camping, kayaking, golfing, being with her friends, vacationing with her family, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a huge fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.

Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her son, Kevin Audette and his wife, Christine, of Woonsocket; her daughter, Kimberly Mosher, and her husband, John of Richmond; her sister, Kathleen Keegan, of Greenville; and her four grandchildren, Olivia and Addelyn Audette, and Aria and Conner Mosher.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 22, 2020, at 11 a.m., in St. Joseph’s Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
