Barbara A. Frappier – Cumberland

Barbara A. (Conway) Frappier, 96, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020, at the Rhode Island, Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Ronald F. Frappier.

Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Fay) Conway. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

Barbara was a 1941 graduate of the St. Joseph School of Nursing.

Mrs. Frappier was employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence and Notre Dame Hospital in Central Falls, retiring in 1989.

She was lifelong communicant of the St. Patrick Church, Valley Falls. She was a volunteer at the Mary House Meal Kitchen in Providence. Those who love her will always remember her strong Catholic faith, and the love she had for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Time spent laughing with her little brother, Jim, were some of her happiest moments.

She leaves her children, Ronald Frappier and his wife, Pamela; Mary Beaudette and her husband, Brian; James Frappier; Barbara Paquette and her husband, Bruce; Peggy Caldwell and her husband, Scott, all of Cumberland; and Kara Postle and her husband, Wil of Lincoln; her brother, James Conway, and his wife, Ethel, of Cumberland; her son-in-law, Wayne Lebeuf; her 15 grandchildren, her 15 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Ellen Lebeuf and Stephen Frappier, and sister of the late Margaret Lambert, Joan O'Neill, Francis Audette, John Conway Jr., Mary Catterall and Sr. Maria Francis Conway RSM.

Barbara's Life Celebration will be held at a later date.
