Pauline B. Lefebvre – Lincoln

Pauline B. (Lamarre) Lefebvre, 89, of Duckworth Street, died Friday, April 24, 2020, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Lefebvre.

Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Lillian (Rodrigue) Lamarre. Pauline raised her children in the house where she was raised, that her grandfather built, and lived there all but three years of her life. She also had a short stay at Mount St. Rita’s Health Centre, Cumberland.

She was a former communicant of the Holy Spirit Parish, Central Falls for the majority of her life, before becoming a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church, Pawtucket.

Pauline loved the beach and clamming, the company of family and friends, enjoyed taking mystery rides, playing cards and scrabble, and most of all, she thrived on family gatherings. Her favorite song was "Unforgettable," which ironically, she could never remember its name. She was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and PawSox fan.

She is survived by two daughters, Elaine Lefebvre of Lincoln, and Renee Brannigan, and her husband, Steve, of Scituate; three sons, Paul Lefebvre and his wife, Celeste, of Lincoln, Roland Lefebvre and his wife, Joanne, of Pawtucket, and Roger Lefebvre and his wife, Dolores, of Scituate; two sisters, Georgette Poole of Pawtucket, and Madeleine Moore of Attleboro, Mass.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, several Godchildren. On her husband’s side, her family more than tripled in size with 16 brothers and sisters-in-law, nearly 30 nieces and nephews and countless great-nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rene Lamarre.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a later date. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Mount St. Rita’s Health Centre, ATTN. M. Gillis, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland, R.I. 02864 or The Tomorrow Fund, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903, would be appreciated.
