Scott Carrier – Manville

Scott Carrier, 57, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 21, 2020, in Hope Hospice in Providence with his family by his side. Scott passed away from complications of a brain aneurysm. He was the husband of Sharon (Gentes) Carrier.

Born in Woonsocket, son of Priscilla (Plouffe ) Carrier Sturn. He also was the son of the late Lucien Carrier. He is also survived by his stepfather, Richard Sturn.

For many years Scott worked as a machinist and in construction.

He loved to spend time with his family, fish, and was an accomplished guitarist. His 1996 Chevy truck was his pride and joy. In his younger years, Scott played hockey for the North Smithfield Hockey League.

He is survived by his three children, and two step-children, Joshua Carrier of Woonsocket, Jacob Carrier of North Dakota and Jessica Carrier of Burrillville; step children, Alexander Donlevy and Dylan Donlevy both of Manville. One brother, Keith Carrier, and his wife, Heidi, of Blackstone; three grandchildren, and two nephews and four nieces. He also was the brother of the late Michael Carrier.

Scot was always there for anyone who needed help. Please offer a random act of kindness in his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held a a later date to be announced.
