Twin River has begun limited reopening

LINCOLN - Twin River Casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton is implementing a limited invitation-only reopening today, June 8, the Rhode Island Lottery announced.

The reopening will be limited to select Twin River reward program members and will include VLT play only.

There has not been a date set for a full public reopening.

Not all VLT machines will be turned on in order to allow for social distancing. Table games will not be operated until further notice. Hours of operation will be restricted from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily to allow for thorough cleaning overnight.

Customers and employees will have to adhere to strict public health guidelines, including verbal health screenings and temperature checks. Hand sanitizer stations will be added throughout the facilities. All customers and employees will be required to wear face coverings.

Smoking will not be allowed during this limited reopening in accordance with public health recommendations.

Twin River’s reopening plan was developed in consultation with the Division of Lottery and the Rhode Island Department of Public Health.
