John Cullen announces candidacy for District 46 Rep.

LINCOLN – John Cullen has announced his candidacy as a Republican for the state representative seat representing District 46.

“I am a lifelong active citizen of the 46th district who promotes conservative values and will fight for a conservative agenda on the state level,” he said.

“Our current representative, Mr. Lyle, has a radical progressive voting record and is more in sync with Democrats than with the Republican caucus. He is the only Republican scoring below zero on the Freedom Index scorecard,” he said.

Cullen’s legislation goals include voter initiative, E-verify workforce, right-to-work, repeal of extreme abortion laws, school choice, repeal of public perpetual contracts, and repeal of forced dues for public unions.

“I support term limits for legislators and judges. I support an elected inspector general to root out Rhode Island corruption. I am presently investigating a no-bid Lincoln school contract that costs Lincoln millions,” he said.

“I have been a teacher and a businessman-entrepreneur in Lincoln for the past 50 years. I have been married to Barbara for 51 years and we have three children and two grandchildren. I have always fought for reform and will continue fighting for you,” he said.
