Cox donates masks to local community agencies

WEST WARWICK – Recognizing that many community organizations are eager to welcome children back into their facilities, Cox Communications has donated 700 face masks to four organizations that serve children across the state: the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Providence, Northern Rhode Island, and Warwick, and Connecting for Children and Families, a non-profit providing educational opportunities and family support located in Woonsocket.

Through a concerted effort to leverage its supply chain to benefit local health care and community organizations, Cox has been able to locate and disperse face masks to replace severely depleted supplies. The company recently located masks made for children to ensure their safety and that of the workers when visiting local facilities for purposes of extracurricular engagement.
