Kerry K. Tortolani – Cumberland

Kerry K. (Guertin) Tortolani passed away on October 3, 2020, in Cape Coral, Fla.

Kerry was a lifelong resident of Cumberland until several years ago when she moved to Florida.

She was the wife of Louis Tortolani, to whom she was married to for 30 years. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Leonard Guertin of Cumberland and the late Carolyn (Calascibetta) Perron.

Kerry is also survived by her children Michael Tortolani of Cape Coral, Fla.; Matthew (Rocco) Tortolani who is serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, N.C., and his wife, Taylor, and Sarah Tortolani of Woonsocket. She is also survived by two brothers, Michael Guertin of Westerly and Gregory Guertin of Burrillville; and her beloved two grandchildren and four nieces.

She was a 1981 graduate of Cumberland High School. She also attended/graduated Salve Regina University, Rhode Island College, and Sawyer Business School. She worked at Brown University for many years. Kerry lived for her family and was known for her generous heart. She would help anyone in need of support. People gravitated to her outgoing personality and kind soul. She was the first one to take the stage and sing a song. Kerry will always and forever be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Kerry’s Life Celebration will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020, with visiting hours from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI 02864
