Karsulavitch pinning hopes on an upset

PAWTUCKET – This year’s election could see multiple upsets, as was seen during the primary elections in September, says Senate District 8 candidate Richard Karsulavitch.

“Over the next two weeks, I will highlight the issues/concerns I will work on if elected by the residents of Pawtucket,” he said.

Security for our seniors and veterans takes priority, he said, including that they continue getting cost of living increases each year.

“Taxes need to be lowered. We are one of the highest-taxed states in the U.S.,” he said. “Lower taxes would encourage and support growth in residents and businesses, which would ensure consistent funding coming into the state to operate.”

Education is an investment in the future, he said.

“Supporting our students by investing in infrastructure, classrooms, after-school sports and club funding creates a foundation for growth and achievement,” he said, and state-of-the-art schools are a priority for their success.
