Luciano calls for lower taxes

PAWTUCKET – Nathan Luciano, Republican candidate for Pawtucket City Council District 2, says he will fight for lower taxes and budget reform for city residents.

“Taxes come from the people and should fund services for the people. Taxes are necessary, but wasteful spending and inflated pricing for services is unethical,” he said. “I am committed to ensuring that unnecessary spending is curbed, that our budget is controlled, and that the residents receive a decent return for their tax payments.”

The city is currently facing the opportunity to attract new residents and businesses, he said. Lower taxes and a responsible budget are key to growth and will benefit current residents.

“District 2 has the chance to elect a new city councilor who will work tirelessly to prioritize a healthy economy in the city of Pawtucket,” he said.
