Robin: Thank you to the USPS

Robin: Thank you to the USPS

I just had a typically pleasant interaction with my postman, whose services are so crucial to the smooth operation of my small business. In these trying times, my USPS deliveries have also been tremendously important to my family’s well-being.

It is terrible to think that this foundational social service is under threat by selfish, hypocritical political interests. Congress must act now to protect the U.S. Postal Service and Americans’ ability to send and receive mail. That means passing a COVID-19 relief package and strengthening, not bleeding, the U.S. Postal Service. We also must insist on a thorough investigation into the suspicious and sudden shifts in routing postal operations by new Postmaster General DeJoy.

Thank you to all of the “good eggs” who work for USPS. Wear your masks, guys!
