Nazareth Cabral – Pawtucket

Nazareth (Amaral) Cabral, 88, of Pawtucket, died Monday, January 4, 2021, at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence.

She was the beloved wife of Antonio Cabral. Mr. & Mrs. Cabral had been married for 62 years.

Born in Beira Alta, Portugal, a daughter of the late Antonio and Augusta Amaral, she had lived in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, before moving to Pawtucket in 1963.

Mrs. Cabral worked as a seamstress at Arbeka Webbing Co., Pawtucket, for just over 20 years.

She enjoyed knitting and needlework, and volunteered knitting hats for babies through Operation Warm Head Start at Women & Infants Hospital, Providence. She was a member of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, Pawtucket and a communicant of St. Anthony Church, Pawtucket.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth O’Hara, and her husband, David, of Boardman, Ohio, and Fatima Miller, and her husband, Thomas, of Cumberland; one son, Antonio C. Cabral, and his wife, Kim, of Hilton Head, S.C. Her love was seeing her seven grandchildren: Jason Cabral, Stefan Cabral, Rachael Deep, Gregg Miller, Ryan O'Hara, Emily Miller and Nicholas O'Hara and five great-grandchildren.
