Pauline Valliere - Woonsocket

Pauline Valliere - Woonsocket

Pauline Valliere, 78, of Cumberland, died Jan. 12, in the Saint Antoine Residence. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Celia (Petrin) Valliere.

Pauline was a woman of strong Catholic faith who attended services at St. John Vianney Church in Cumberland multiple times a week throughout her adult life. She is survived by two of her siblings, Paul Valliere (and his wife Jill) of Florida and Cecelia Florentz of Providence. Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Perez and in October of this year, Pauline’s brother Albert Valliere also passed away. We can’t help but hope that they are all enjoying a loving reunion (with characteristically dark jokes and a lot of laughter.)

Pauline is also survived by her grandson Victor Valliere, who was her legacy, her pride and her joy and whom she raised as her own child. Victor says his Memere was kind, caring, loving and affectionate. They loved each other, saved each other, took care and listened to each other … they were both family and friend to one another. Victor says, “She was just the best. That’s it.”

Due to the circumstances of the pandemic, and out of consideration for all, services will not be held at this time. Visit www.holtfuneralhome.com .
