Therese Jeannette (Martel) Lambert died at The Ballou Home on Jan. 17, succumbing to complications from COVID-19. She was the wife of the late William Larue and Albert R. Lambert. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Melina (St. George) Martel Sr. Therese worked at the former Lafayette Worsted Company for 12 years, Archway Cookies for 10 years and Tupperware for 10 years before retiring. She was a former member of St. Joseph Sr. Citizens and the Parkview Senior Club. She enjoyed shopping and decorating her home. Therese loved playing bingo. At 92 years old she became an avid New England Patriots fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Therese is survived by her daughter Rachel A. (Larue) Odom and her husband Elton of Woonsocket, two grandchildren, Lisa K. Villella and her husband Craig of Woonsocket, Christopher N. Odom and his wife Tayrha of Bellingham, Mass., and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jocelyn Odom, and Keith Jillette. She was predeceased by two brothers Theodore Martel Jr. and Gerard Martel.
