Elva “Jean” Duncan, 91, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021.

She was the beloved wife of the late Floyd O. Duncan. Born in Hot Springs, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beulah (Whisenant) Harper.

Jean was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, playing video casino games, scratch tickets, collecting statues of cardinals, bingo and playing cards with family and friends alike. She was also an avid fan of both the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. Jean will be lovingly remembered by all her family, friends, and those whose lives she has touched over the past 91 years.

Jean leaves three daughters, Patricia Carter and her husband, David, of Pawtucket, Vicki Gelardi and her husband, Wayne, of Salem, N.H., and Debbie Jean Trusty and her husband, Todd, of Pelham, N.H.; 10 grandchildren: Amanda Jean Carter, Caitlin Snyder, Daniel Gelardi, Jessica Jean Simone, Benjamin Trusty, Charles Feagin, Jr., Gary Feagin, Sherri Beville, Jonathan Feagin and Jason Feagin; nine great-grandchildren: Isabella Jean, Kiley Jean, Makenzie Raine, Austin, Cameron, Colton, Caleb, Abby and Naomi; a son-in-law, Bill Erker of Ocala, Fla., and two longtime and loving caretakers, Christine and Cindy, whom Jean loved dearly and relied upon. Jean was predeceased by her daughter, Paula Erker.

Services and burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, will be private. If desired, memorial gifts to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904, would be appreciated.
