Robert ‘Bob’ Boucher – Cumberland

Robert “Bob” Boucher, 81, of Cumberland, RI passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26.

He was the loving husband of Constance (Bisson) Boucher for over 55 years. He was born in Providence, R.I., a son of the late Archille and Orise (Giroux) Boucher.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son Michael Boucher and his wife, Victoria, of Shrewsbury, Mass., and his son David Boucher and his wife, Kristin, of Cumberland, R.I.

He loved and adored his three grandchildren, Mikayla Boucher, Logan Boucher and Lacey Boucher and several nieces and nephews. Bob joins his grandson Lucas, in heaven.

He was predeceased by his brother, Eugene Boucher, and his sisters, Reha Boucher and Rita Boucher.

He was a graduate of Bryant College and was employed as a maintenance technician for Sunoco Oil Company prior to his retirement in 2004. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran.

Bob’s favorite times were spent with his family and taking care of his garden. He always made time to help his family. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle and will be dearly missed by his family.

A private prayer service for the family took place at St. Aidan Church and he was buried with military honors in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, R.I.
