David A. Theroux – Cumberland

David A. Theroux, 58, of Cumberland passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, suddenly at home.

He was the husband of Deborah (Gove) Theroux and they had been married for the past 23 years. He was the father of Donald Kelly of Cumberland.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Evans) Theroux. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life.

Mr. Theroux was employed as truck driver for the Synagro in Woonsocket for the past 10 years. He was previously employed by Garelic Farms for 20 years.

David was an passionate and dedicated New England sports fan. He also loved to listen to music, watch concerts on television, travel, and some of his favorite destinations included, St. Martin, England, Cape Cod, and most anywhere he could be with the love of his life, Deborah. Among all of these interests, he most enjoyed his wife's cooking and spending time with his family. Those who love him will always remember his smile, his personality, his work ethic, as well as his loyalty and love for family.

In addition to his wife and son, he also leaves his grandchildren; his two brothers, Steven Theroux and Neil Theroux; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Theroux.

David's Life Celebration was held April 11 with visiting hours and continued on April 12, in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial took place in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland, and his burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
